Description

Pokemon Molten Gold is a modified version of Pokemon Gold that is currently being developed. Its main focus is on rebalancing the available pokemon, fixing bugs, and adding various quality-of-life improvements to the original game. The storyline and progression have also been adjusted—for example, Clair now appears as the first Gym Leader in Blackthorn City after the player receives their Pokedex.

Features

All Pokemon have been changed to make them more usable for casual or Nuzlocke playthroughs. This includes things like new types, better moves, or improved stats.
New and updated moves and TMs give pokemon more options in battle.
Baby Pokemon from the old Beta version are now included. Future evolutions from later gens (like Farigiraf and Gliscor) will also be added later.
New held items from later games, like the Eviolite, are now available and used by both you and your opponents.
New areas to explore and more Pokemon to catch! All Gen 2 pokemon can be caught and evolved without needing to trade. Some can be found in brand-new areas only in Molten Gold—like dark forests or wide deserts.
Level cap system is based on your progress through the story, not how many badges you have.
Tons of quality-of-life features like Running Shoes, a PC in your bag, easy Repel toggle, a Party Heal “Med Box”, and infinite Rare Candies in the “Candy Jar”. The game stays challenging but never feels like a chore.
“About Menu” shows full details on all changes and credits the team behind the game.

A demo is available to try! This goes up until around the midpoint of the game.
