Description
Pokemon Darkfire is a GBA ROM hack that came out a few years ago and has built up a solid fanbase. People are excited for the next update because the game has great visuals, new characters you can play as, a new rival to compete with, and a new professor to help guide you. One of the coolest features is that your partner Pokemon follows you around wherever you go.
The game is set in the stunning Tenjo region and comes with a fresh, darker storyline for players to discover.
It also includes character mughshots, and a custom music soundtrack that enhances the gameplay experience. The current version goes upto the 3rd gym battle expecting to provide a gameplay of 10-12 hours.
Story
Lately, Pokemon have been acting weird. Some have even disappeared completely from their trainers, and others are just ignoring commands. The region’s top scientists think it’s because of a nasty Pokemon virus, but they haven’t been able to prove anything yet.
You’re a young adventurer living in the beautiful Tenjo region, which is east of Hoenn. After helping the local professor with a Rattata problem, your friend Tyler decides it’s the perfect time for both of you to explore the region together.
As you explore, you encounter a shady guy who says he’s been watching your battles. He offers you a chance to get into a rougher, more dangerous type of battling, promising fame and fortune. He tells you to “keep it up” and then vanishes.
From then on, Tyler starts acting more and more oddly whenever you see him. After a visit to the Tenjo Government Offices, he gets the idea that the government is hiding something and disappears, seemingly on a personal mission. Meanwhile, you start spotting symbols related to the shady guy everywhere.
Soon, news breaks that Tyler has gone missing. Given that he was trying to expose the government based on his own theories, it doesn’t look good, so you set out to find him.
As you make new friends, they join you in the search for Tyler, but things are about to get intense.
You’ll get involved in secret underground battles where there are no rules. Pokemon are forced to fight to the death for money, power, and fame, and crime is rampant.
Amidst the drama, you’ll face brutal underground fights, missing legendary Pokemon, and mysterious disappearances. Some people think a human is behind the corruption, while others believe it’s an evil Pokemon pulling the strings.
Who’s really in charge of this dark organization? Is the government hiding something? Where’s Tyler? And why are Pokemon acting so strange?
All these questions will be answered in this new, exciting Gen 3 Pokemon adventure!
