Pokemon Reloaded is a well-loved fangame that often gets updates to add new features and make it better. Since it’s hard to keep track of all the changes, we’ve made this Pokemon Reloaded Changelog page to list every update’s changes in one place.

Pokemon Reloaded Changelog
v1.5
What’s New!
- The Paldea starters have been added to the game: Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, Fuecoco, Crocalor, Skeledirge, Quaxly, Quaxwell and Quaquaval.
- All three forms of Paldea’s Tauros have been added.
- Paldea’s Wooper form and its evolution, Clodsire, have been added.
- The Snowy Landscape attack and its learning have been implemented.
- The attacks Cold Water, Water Dance, Water Slash, Burning Song, Flower Trick, Axe Kick, Pathfinder, and Bull’s Fury have also been implemented.
- Rumination skill has been implemented.
- The new Snow climate has been added, which is slightly different from the existing Hail. Unlike in Generation 9, Hail is not removed, but both coexist in the same game.
- Some previously Hail climates in the Star region will now be Snow climates, such as Deneb City.
- New ability exclusive to Reloaded has been implemented: Hailstorm.
- The Snowfall ability has been changed and will now produce Snow weather, while the new Hailstorm ability will produce Hail weather.
- All Pokémon that had the Snowfall ability will now also be able to have Hailstorm as an alternative. You will notice that some of the Pokémon you have caught will keep their ability and others will change it. In any case, remember that there are items to change these abilities.
- The main difference between Hail and Snow is that with Hail, non-Ice Pokémon lose health, however with Snow, this characteristic is replaced by Ice Pokémon suffering less physical damage (50% less). Otherwise, they are very similar; in both, Blizzard will not fail, you can activate Aurora Shroud, etc.
- As you may know, the game is prepared to detect technical anomalies caused by a bug (or hacking tools), which is very useful to fix errors that are not visible to the naked eye. When an anomaly occurs, you should never save. The error message itself indicates this, but since there are users who do it anyway, from this version onwards, the game will not overwrite the backup files after the anomaly has occurred, so that the last good save is not overwritten.
- Updated attack names to the ninth generation, for example Frostbite is now called Frost Shard and Rush is now called Meteors.
- Added remaining Mega Stones in the Front Dome in exchange for Battle Points (BP).
- Added new DT820 Snowscape.
- Added new DT330 Fire Kick.
Bug fixes and improvements
Without a doubt, the task that has taken me the longest these past few weeks has been the review of the different types of attack learning for all Pokémon. Thousands of new possible combinations of movesets have been added that some have been waiting for for a long time. Even so, it is possible that some attacks may have escaped, so if you miss any attacks, do not hesitate to let us know.
- Review of learning levels for all Pokémon.
- Review of learnings by HM/TM of all Pokémon.
- Review of learning by movement tutor of all Pokémon.
- Review of learnings by DTs of all Pokémon.
- Review of all Pokémon’s Egg Move learnings.
Please note that the game includes a program that allows you to view all this data without having to see it in Reloaded. It is located in the “attack_pkmn” folder and has also been updated.
In addition to these improvements, many bugs have also been fixed:
- Improvements made to the Front Zone to reduce lag on less powerful computers. Please let me know if you notice any improvement.
- Fixed issue with out-of-square images of trainers with animation in the dialogue message.
- Some rivals were affected by the introduction of new characters in the last beta 1.4. This should be fixed with the update to this version.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the game to freeze in Front Tower. This should no longer occur.
- Fixed a bug that sometimes occurred with the Substitute attack when it was used by an enemy.
- Fixed the issue with Snorlax for users who had already spoken to the Elder before updating to beta 1.4. As I mentioned, I’m afraid that if you saved after the glitch, it can’t be fixed. You can try restoring your previous save, as described further down in this post.
- Fixed issue with Shiny Mega Evolutions being registered in the Pokédex.
- It is now possible to complete the Zygarde quest in the quest book.
- Revised Mew animations, there were (very rare) cases where the game would crash.
- Fixed moving coaches that sometimes appeared invisible when giving the phone number.
- In the Front Palace, if it is not the first time we participate in the event, they will no longer specify the items received one by one, but rather they will tell us “you have received several items.”
- Fixed issue with the Front Palace doors, which sometimes caused problems to enter.
- Updated some trainer dialogue in the Palace that appeared as “…”.
- Some attacks could not be learned by DT, but the same attack could be learned by MT.
- Improved DT learning calculation.
- When preparing a Z movement the music stopped.
- Arceus with the forbidden table had the fairy type instead of the unknown type.
- A Thousand Arrows did not affect Levitators and did not remove their ability.
- Drake Breath is now a Physical attack.
- Aerial Peak and Dunetemblor are now Special attacks.
- Updated the functionality of the Spectral March attack, which was not working as expected.
- Time inconsistencies or outdated beta: To fix this issue, please set the correct date and time on your PC before playing. To prevent this from happening again, you should always play with the correct time.
- Galarian Darmanitan’s Daruma Mode would sometimes change into its Unova form.
- Saved setups from Multiplayer cannot be loaded into the new version. Saved teams will be fine so don’t worry, but if you saved a setup I’m afraid you’ll have to manually re-set it in TLB 1.5 as it uses an older save game system and it’s now obsolete.
- Updated quality of some Pokémon shouts.
- Fixed possible game crashes in Reverse World and Unova stories.
- Fixed Pokédex issues with Dark Tyranitar, Slowbro, Basculin, and Basculegion.
- Minor fixes.
Backing up saved games
At the loading screen, we usually press the primary (left) mouse button to load our save. In The Last Beta, the option to press the secondary (right) button to restore a previous save was added. This can be useful in case of an error, but also, if you have accidentally saved instead of loading, you can also recover the previous save.
On the loading screen, by right-clicking on the Slot, you can exchange the backup save for the current one, and vice versa.
Sometimes the Windows file system can fail, especially when there is a power outage or the computer is abruptly disconnected. We cannot allow ourselves to lose our game that we have dedicated so many hours to due to an unexpected error. Although the game automatically backs up your saved games, it may not be enough. That is why I recommend that, from time to time, you compress the Games folder and leave it on a removable device, attached in an email or in the cloud.
