    Description

Pokemon Definitive Platinum: The Ultimate Sinnoh Adventure

Get ready to explore the thrilling new features and upgrades in Pokemon Definitive Platinum, the ultimate version of the classic Sinnoh journey. This edition is packed with improvements like reusable Repels, infinite TMs, instant Honey Trees, and the ability to forget HMs, making gameplay smoother and more enjoyable.

Evolve your Pokemon without trade restrictions, roam endlessly in the Great Marsh, and dive into brand-new story content and mythical events. With revamped Trainer battles, increased difficulty, and access to all 493 Pokemon, Pokemon Definitive Platinum offers a fresh, challenging experience for both newcomers and seasoned trainers alike. Step into the enhanced Sinnoh region and rediscover your Pokemon adventure like never before!

    Features

    • Reusable Repels: When your Repel wears off, you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to use another one. You can choose which Repel from your bag to use.
    • Infinite TMs: You can sell TMs, but once you do, they’re gone for good until you find them again.
    • Instant Honey Trees: When you slather Honey on a tree, you can immediately check it again to encounter a Pokemon. There’s a 10% chance that it might fail, though.
    • Forgettable HMs: HM moves can now be forgotten in the overworld and in battle if a Pokemon is learning a new move after leveling up.
    • No Overworld Poison Damage: If a Pokemon in your party is Poisoned, its HP won’t decrease as you walk or run.
    • Unlimited Great Marsh Steps: You can explore the Great Marsh as long as you want without worrying about step limits.

    Evolving Improvements

    • All trade evolutions now happen at level 36.
    • Evolutions that require held items will occur after gaining one level while holding the item, with no day/night checks.
    • Eggs hatch faster.
    • Friendship evolutions occur after one level up, with friendship checks removed.
    • Feebas evolves with a Water Stone.
    • Espeon evolves with a Sun Stone.
    • Umbreon evolves with a Moon Stone.

    New Content and Accessibility

    • Added new story content to both the main game and post-game.
    • All 493 Pokemon can be seen and caught.
    • New in-game events for Mythical and Legendary Pokemon.
    • Gym Leaders now have six Pokemon, with teams inspired by the manga and other series entries.
    • New characters and Trainer battles have been added.
    • Coach Trainers now reward TMs upon defeat and offer repeat challenges.
    • Move Tutors have been repositioned to the main game and no longer require Shards.
    • You don’t need Heart Scales to relearn moves anymore.

    Enhanced Gameplay

    • The game is more challenging than the original Platinum but not as tough as Kaizo.
    • Wild Pokemon encounters are more varied, allowing for fresh team compositions and replayability.
    • Unnecessary HM obstacles have been removed in most areas.
    • You can encounter Spiritomb instantly with an Odd Keystone.
    • Mystery-Gift events (Rotom Room, Shaymin, Darkrai, Arceus) are unlocked.
    • Trainers have revamped teams and adapt by using Move Tutors.
    • The Pokedex won’t show accurate wild encounter locations, so refer to the provided document.
    • No changes have been made to stats, typings, level-up sets, or move pools to maintain the original vision.
    • Trainer teams have been revamped for a new challenge.
