    Description

    This is an attempt at bringing the infamous Ruby hack Pokemon Snakewood to modern standards. So far, there are no changes to the plot and trainer battles, but there are multiple QoL changes and bug fixes to make the experience much more smoother.

    • Tile corruption in Littleroot Town on spawn
    • Darkening of tiles after a screen fade in

    • Replace Golbat’s sprite
    • Fix Shop’s window tile corruption
    • Field Moves have colored text in the Party Menu
    • Disease type removal
    • Type icons reverted to default Ruby ones
    • Emerald style Save Prompt
    • Colored stat values based on nature
    • Repeated item usage
    • Error screen for wrong save file type
    • Multiple Registered Key Items
    • Exp Points on capture
    • Autorunning shoes
    • Fix Female Player sprite issues
    • More exp. points on winning battles

      • Fix the palette issue for Meteor’s portrait
      • Use any Electric moves for SS Cangrejo’s elevator event
      • Avoid softlock after losing the Senex battle
      • Set respawn point in Sootopolis City before heading to Sootopolis Heights
      • Hard Disk Solo is obtained without having to catch Roclobster

    Features from Pokemon Snakewood

    • New stories, new worlds, new character designs—just the usual stuff.
    • Exciting new places like the secret Meathouse, the crazy Island of Calm, and the unexpected Hoenn Film School.
    • Several zombie versions of regular Pokémon (called Fakemon), with two that you can catch.
    • 6 Denjuu.
    • A bunch of new Fakemon (around 40 to 50), including many hidden evolutions of existing Pokémon.
    • New legendary Pokémon, some of which are really evil.
    • About 7 Sinnoh Pokémon.
    • Around 5 Pokémon from Isshu (or Unova, if you prefer).
    • Most Gyms are overrun by zombies, so you’ll earn Badges in some unusual ways.
    • A few Pokémon have had their types changed:
    • Luxio and Luxray: Electric/Dark
    • Meowth and Persian: Normal/Dark
    • Seviper: Poison/Dark
    • Banette: Ghost/Fighting
    • Milotic: Water/Psychic
    • Hariyama: Fighting/Normal
    • An unexpected pet shop run by a certain Count.
    • A bunch of shady characters who will lie to you.
    • A strange and wandering storyline.
    • Lots of references to books, movies, manga, other games, and more.
    • A darker plot than usual.
    • A bit more challenging than before.
